Honestly it has been forever (about 5 months but forever sounds better) since I've posted anything. I was busy with work for about 4 months and for the last month I just took a little break (aka addicted to a PS Vita game)... Well anyway, yesterday I came up with a great Idea and last night I started animating it. It's not much and I'm a little rusty because at work I was doing motion capture related stuff an not so much hand keyed animation.
I also have a couple failed attempts of a lip sync that frustrated me but i feel like I'm in a good place with this one. this has also help me remember my personal animation process (which also explained why i had so much trouble with the lip sync, I didn't know where to start and was all over the place)
Well anyways...Untill next time...When ever that is...
It was fun making this, but at the same time during the last 2 weeks I was a zombie surviving on almost no sleep. I personally wished the tracking worked out better but over all I kinda proud of what I did within a short time (originally had more time but I lost footage so I had to re-shoot, light, track, and basically everything within the last 2 weeks). Hope you enjoyed.
Last week I made a cycle just for the fun of it (more like I was a little stressed and needed a simple animation to calm me down). Well anyway I had fun doing this one. The last walk cycle I made in my second semester I didn't like and because of that I didn't post it. So... this is the first walk cycle I posted since I started the animation program.
Without further ado (who still says that?!?!?! :/ ) here is the march cycle :P
Hey guys I've been working hard on my VFX latly and wanted to show you the transform animation I have started. working on texturing the blaster right now but untill that is finished this is all I'm willing to show.
Hey guys made this really short animation on friday. I was trying to imitate a Loonytoons style. I basically figured that anilysing and immitating animation is a great way to learn. It's just like copying, imitating and learning to draw from you fav artist to get better at drawing.
Below is the blocking poses.
Below is the finished animation
In this test I got to learn how squash and stretch was incorporated into the character to accentuate arcs and smooth out motion. as usual in all my animation I played with timing. unfortunately I had a deadline for myself and didn't do as much as I wanted(Note to self: fix the fingers).
